Today, the biggest written recruitment examination for the post of constable is being conducted in Uttar Pradesh Police in which 48 lakh applicants are going to appear in the examination for 6244 posts. This examination has started in the first phase. Now the examination is to be held in two shifts in which about 30 lakh candidates will participate.
While in the second phase, the examination will also be held in two shifts on 30 and 31 August, about 18 lakh candidates are going to participate in it. Last time we saw that the examination question paper was leaked due to which the exam was postponed and the applicants who appeared for the exam had a protest for many days.
After which the government had decided to conduct the examination again and now this examination is being conducted.
After going inside the examination center of the candidates, they are being checked very strictly. Only your admit card and one pen of any kind and you are allowed to take two pens, such tight security has been done this time.
This time a special difference is that last time the exam was held in two days in two shifts each day i.e. in total four shifts. This time the exam is being held in five days and in two shifts each day i.e. in total 10 shifts.
Very tight security has been put in place. This exam is being held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. Around 95 lakh candidates are giving this exam every day.
No one is being given entry without KYC and biometric verification. There are around 1100 centres. There are around 1100 centres in total in 67 districts and 2300 magistrates. You can see around 25,000 police force has been deployed from different corners.
